my MK42 from the sketchy IGG-campaign arrived yesterday.
its bowed up in the middle, but that might be compensated by tightening down the middle screws
Resistance is 1 Ohm, which is perfect (for me at least, i rock a dualPSU setup with a dedicated 24V 20A PSU (tuned down to 19V) for the bed and a 12V20A PSU without a fan for the rest ( i also have a 200A 24V MeanWell PSU laying around, if the cheap chinese cant cope (200A isnt a typo btw :))

With 240V and a proper, chunky connector.

"I also have a thousand dollar power supply lying around in case the 35 dollar one doesn't do the trick" lol

Its a beast, but i got it for 25 Bucks. Its brand new and for 25 €s i figured why not ( and if even as a part source)

btw, ive had to shorten the standoffs in the middle of the heated bed to get it to be nearly exactly flat when screwed down onto the aluinium y-carriage.
maybe you want to try the same with your bad one

Wow. You have 3 phase power at home?

I did think about that. But when i tighten mine down to the Y frame, it actually ends up flexing the Y frame too; it's just too warped. The one i've got from autotronix is ok though.

well, mine was bowed up by maybe 1.5-2 mm. without the shortened standoffs i also has a slight flexing issue, but with the shorter middle standoffs it seems compensated. Its only a solution for a few months for me tho, as im going to throw some money at prusa for the mk52.

They can run off single phase. Wouldn't fully load it like that, though.

I ordered 2 MK42 beds and a p3steel frame from Orballo on Sep 3rd and have yet to received any communication from them at all, despite multiple requests from me. Anyone gotten anything shipped from them recently? It seems that they're running a month or so behind based on the other posts in this thread so I'm not quite ready to panic.

It sure would be nice if they would respond in any way! And would be nice if they would accurately represent "in stock" and "most orders ship within 24 hours" :x
Just as a follow up and another datapoint, I did receive both the MK42s and the P3Steel frame 5 weeks after I ordered. I haven't used them yet, but the quality looks good. 5 weeks wouldn't have been a big issue for me if there had been any communication or expectation management on their part. But at least I got them eventually!
