Hi, I am new to 3D printing but wish to share a couple of things that work for me concerning solvents & cleaners.
I am currently only printing PLA and have found the best way to stop your prints from moving on the bed is NOT to use a glue stick but use a thinly spread layer of Gorilla wood glue onto masking tape (my bed is at 50C).
It sticks solid and have never had a print move since using this method, there is some film once you manage to get it off the bed but i use isopropyl alcohol to clean this
Of course you MUST make sure the bed is level & I do 2 passes on the perimeter just to get the filament flowing steady, but that is probably due to cheaper components used on my DIY built printer.
