Smoothieware Electronics Cooling Switch Module

Post by Thirkell » Sun Feb 11, 2018 3:44 pm

Hi there, I am hoping for some assistance. I am using an MKS Sbase board with the latest smoothieware. I would like to add an IO controlled cooling fan for the drivers and mosfets on the board. I would like to use a switch module but I am not sure how to specify multiple inputs to turn on the one fan output. My thinking is that the fan should go on if any of the motors are enabled or if any of the heaters are on and then stay on for a short period after they are switched off, as Marlin does. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Secondly, I cannot get some of the GPIO pins to obey me namely ports 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 3.27 and I am not sure why. They are probably defined for some other purpose but I am not sure what or how to stop that other purpose.
