He all, I am currently in the market for a new controller board for my printer (Malyan m150, with the default melzi board).
Still gathering requirements tho, this is what i have so far.:
- 8bit u(32 is oké 2) board
- enough connectors for bltouch, filament sensor, 2-3 endstops, 4-5 steppers (preferably tmc21xx), 1 hotend, 1 heated bed
- steppers drivers van be soldered buy preferably the silent ones
- aprox 100 bucks.
- safe (in regards tot connectors mosfets etc)
- additional outputs for lights / fans / temperature would be nice
Wifi / Ethernet / camera would be nice but not required (could be done with a pi). As for firmware I have experience with Marlin but willing to learn another.
I see a lot of options but would like something which is well build and safe to run unattended (for what the board is concerned)
Any tips / advice on what tot buy/stay away from?

Re: New controller board
Hello!
You can look at the boards made by Ultimachine https://ultimachine.com/ or Duet 3D https://www.duet3d.com/.
I have no experience with their boards but that's what I plan to buy. The Duet Wifi board has good documentation.
