Build MY own Arduino-controlled camera slider!
I watched this Pbm960k1wW4 a long time ago. Recently I've decided to design and build myself a new camera slider for my new Panasonic G7. yes influenced by Tom again, but I've checked the closest competition is the Sony A6300 which has a serve overheating issue so it is a big no-no for me. I thought...

Re: Getting rid of endstops
with the firmware development pace and arrogance of the smoothie devs, they are going to be irrelevant very soon. More so after Marlin has finished porting to 32bit platforms and move on to version 2.0.

Re: Multi Material Printing Purge Blocks
There you go but don't expect it to work without modification. It was a proof of concept thingy but eventually, I've lost interest with it.

Re: Multi Material Printing Purge Blocks
The best method is when the model allows ist to use the infill to purge and prime the noozle but that is harder to implement. It is not any harder to implement at all. I've done it with a post-processing script. Here is a demo gcode preivew of the post-processed gcode in action. https://gfycat.com/...

Re: defeating fillament unwinding defects by using 2 steppermotors
interesting idea. I think there are a few ways to address the issues without resolving into this... but i like the idea somehow. :D 1. adjusting the spool holder to a better position/setup so that less force is required to unwind the filament 2. increase the tension on the extruder and pump more cur...

Re: DIY Silicone Sleeves for older E3D v6.0/Chinese Clones
I bought 1KG worth of this high temp silicone for about 7 USD... each sleeve has about 4ml of volume. this is literally cost me close to nothing except for the time I spent modelling and iterate the designs (twice). The first version I made is about 30hours usage now, it is still fine with zero sign...

https://i.imgur.com/YQaK5Ud.jpg https://i.imgur.com/O9OQrx7.jpg https://i.imgur.com/uanh22b.jpg I've designed and made my own e3d v6 sleeves/socks. I am pretty new to Fusion 360 and silicone casting. I have less than 10 hours of experience with Fusion 360 and basically first time casting silicone. ...
