Hello my name is James Hanvey, or Geeky Raptor which is my future pen name, I aspire to be an artist and author but I am still new at these things, I also am new at 3d printing, I have yet to buy an Anett A8 and/or a Cr10 3d printer I was planning on getting into the hobby for sure! ;) I love the id...

Re: Any ideas on how to raise funds for a 3d printer?

Sound advice, was just a little curious and thinking the particular topic would be at least a bit interesting if not really relevant. Thank you for all the input :)

Will say this, I draw and write stories as a hobby mainly.

Re: Any ideas on how to raise funds for a 3d printer?

Does not seem really legit, I was hoping for a side hobby that could raise some small amounts of cash and be fun to do as well.
Amazon turk sounds not a good idea to me, to be honest I don't know why you suggested it anyway.

Chocolate, sand with plastic, and paper based filaments would be neat

Wouldn't it be neat if the Anett A8 and prusa i3 printers printed in chocolate and plastic with sand particles as well as paper based filaments? I was also wondering how well the 3d printers would handle bio printing or if it even a possibility?

Re: Any ideas on how to raise funds for a 3d printer?

Basically the 3d printer would be an Anett A8 3d printer I was planning on buying for myself, but I'd have to wait 3 months or more to buy it, " I only make 60 dollars a month as allowance from ssi, the rest being rent and stuff like groceries." I was planning on saving up, but I was hoping there mi...

3d printed immortality?

Perhaps trying to be immortal might be possible with 3d printing? I am probably not the the first or last person to think of this as 3d bio-printing becomes easier and more accessible to more people. Would it be too much to say that in the near future we may be able to prevent aging by using stem ce...
