I know, but you can't post in those forums if you're not a prusa customer!!
I didn't know - I though I registered before buying a Prusa .. but I'm not sure anymore.

Re: Prusa firmware for RAMPS Prusa i3 clones with MK42 beds

Hi, would you mind to hint which seller had the non warped version? :)

BTW: There are some people eager to have this firmware in the prusa forums: http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-f4

Re: Drawing thin lines

If I need correct hole size I use in Slic3r the "External perimeters first" option. See http://manual.slic3r.org/troubleshootin ... ion-errors

How much of a difference does a concrete slab actually make? I will have the printer in a room adjacent to my living room, so not hearing it through the wall (if it even is that loud) would be great!
A lot. I set my MK2S last week on another table and first I though something had be broken. :)

Re: Just ordered my first printer. What to do until it arrives?

For assembly geht a 5,5m open-jaw wrench or socket. You will need this to (slightly) tighten the nuts for the Y bearings. In the assembly instruction they use pliers to the job * shudder * You will/may need: * Download the Slic3r PE from the prusa3d and check out the different settings on some STL f...

Re: MK2S started to show Ringing/Ghosting

Hi ronka, The bed and the carriage are well mounted together. The MK2S has such a support as well (see http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/2.+Y-axis+assembly/298#s5153). However I can wiggle my motor a bit, don't know if that's normal. I put it on my todo list to check. Thanks! Is your printer a china k...

Re: MK2S started to show Ringing/Ghosting

Hi ronka, thank you for the explanation. Before I start to modify my settings I want my printer to be as good as it already has been before with the same settings. ... Yes, I'm stubborn  So I will go on checking everything again more systematically. The problem is that I had to disassemble ...

Re: MK2S started to show Ringing/Ghosting

Just out of curiosity, If you print a model from Prusa that came on the SD card, do you see the same issue. What Slicer are you using? Do you have any model from the SD card in mind that would be a good subject for ripples (and does not take ages to print)? The benchy was sliced with: ; generated b...

Re: MK2S started to show Ringing/Ghosting

Hi, thanks for your input! hi, did you try printing at a slower speed and/or adjusted the acceleration and jerk settings? Yes, if print slower the ripples are much less pronounced. I printed these test cubes above with 0,35 layer height and vase mode with 20, 30 and 40mm/s. The ripples are much soft...
