Although not quite as large as yours its Total size is 1000x 500x500mm but my Z height can be configured to go much higher. some of the things i did to make my carriage as light as possible. I have checked the pulley and even replaced the belt with a new one, tension-ed the belt and lubed on the track and guides. And I checked for obstructions. Moving the axis manually feels smooth only the clicks from the stepper motor as it rotates Is all I feel. Very little backlash. Only thing that ...

Losing steps

I Cant figure out why my printer continuously loosing steps.
On the x axis in the same direction every time and It does this most of the time but occasionally a print will stay strait.
this is [causing my print to migrate towards the max side of x
