That look's suspiciously like a Wanhao (http://www.wanhao3dprinter.com/Unboxin/ ... ticleID=78)

They re-brand their printers for a great many middle men....

20mm cubes are small items, that usually only print in the centre of the bed, so try printing multiple cubes around the bed, to ensure that all areas are correct.

This will show if there are any issues with the printer (belt slippage etc.)

As well as checking the vRef, also try running both motors in series (https://www.instructables.com/id/Wiring ... in-Series/)
