Stepper motor voltage

I recently got a CR-10 and I'm in the process of replacing the standard Creality electronics with Duet WiFi.

The standard CR-10 uses 12v for power. Can the stepper motors handle 24v?

I know the bed and extruder heaters need to be replaced, but I'm not sure about the steppers.

Re: How To Clean Glass Plate?

I bought several different goo remover solutions, and nothing touches the residue left on my glass plates. Fortunately I have spare plates so I'm not compromised by losing a plate. But Ib do want to get it back..... My latest gambit is to see if weather might deal with the problem, so I've put the g...

Re: Update Marlin Firmware

Git is kind of the leading SCM tool for any project size, distributed or not. But the point here, is that marlin is hosted on github so using a git tool allows merged updates. Absolutely! My comments regarding Vault were intended to help users maintain local copies of updates. During development po...

I sent ksmsoft an email about it
Thanks for that.

My bad I'm afraid - I hadn't published design 2675149 on Thingiverse so it wasn't visible.

I just published, so hopefully this problem is resolved.

Re: Update Marlin Firmware

Adding to this, if you are a Windows user then SourceGear Vault is an excellent version control solution: https://sourcegear.com/vault/ A single user license is free and as an ex-software developer I can vouch for it being an excellent tool. Though Git is good it is more of a global solution where m...

Dual Nozzle Mount On Replicator-Style Printer

When I used a Flashforge Dreamer (which is essentially a Replicator clone), one of the issues I had was aligning the nozzles vertically in relation to each other. You only have to be a micro-smidgen off and it causes havoc when trying to use dual filaments. The following works for any Replcator-type...

Re: Quesion: MKS GEN 1.4 Wiring

Two Z in series on one driver (BEST) I'm not disagreeing and don't have any evidence to make an argument in favour of series or parallel dual motors. However I just bought a new Rumba board, and it advises that dual Z steppers are wired in parallel (not serial). See the wiring diagram halfway down ...

How To Clean Glass Plate?

I had a Buildtak-style printing mat stuck on my glass build plate.

It needed replacing so I dragged the old mat off the plate. That's left gooey residue which I need to clean off.

What's the best method of cleaning the sticky goo off a glass build plate?

Rumba With TFT32

I bought a Rumba control board and wish to connect an MKS TFT32 touchscreen.

Anyone know what connector I use on the Rumba?
