Re: Type-K Thermocouple with AD8495 (?) on Smoothie board shows 629c!!

Perhaps I hit a nerver as Panucatt finally responded to my latest email to support. From their email, I've drawn up a diagram of the wiring and Smoothieware settings for using their TC8495-1 Themocouple Adapter on the Azteeg X5 GT control board. Note that I have not yet tested their configuration. H...

Re: Type-K Thermocouple with AD8495 (?) on Smoothie board shows 629c!!

Here's an update. I posted this on the Smoothieware Google Group as well and got a quick response. It appears that board the AD8495 (or Panucatt TC8495-1) are only supposed to be powered by 3.3v Which kinda makes sense. If I'm doing the math right, a 0 offset with (5/3.3) * 250(required offset) + 25...

Type-K Thermocouple with AD8495 (?) on Smoothie board shows 629c!!

Hi, need some help. I have a Axteeg X5 GT board with their TC8495-1 (AD8495?) ADC Thermocouple board and a Type-K Thermocouple. I have it set up with 5v+ and GND and the Data pin on 1.20 of the Azteeg board. In Smoothieware, I have it configued as this: temperature_control.hotend.enable true tempera...

Nevermind. Found the solution in another forum: Cut SDI, CS and SCK pins.

TriGorilla & TMC2130 in Standalone StealthChop Mode?

The TriGorilla doesn't have jumpers for MS1, 2 & 3. And I'm trying to put some spare TMC2130s in X Y & Z for Standalone SteathChop Mode. I've cut SDI pins off all the boards, but the problem is they turn the wrong way! And this is a Delta Printer. I've tried setting INVERT_X_DIR Y and Z and that onl...

FySetc TMC2130 CFG4 & CFG5

Hopefully my last question. The FySetc TMC2130 drivers do not have any bridges across CFG4 or CFG5.
If I don't use/care about sensorless homing or stallguard, then I don't have to modify these connections, correct?

Thanks!

TMC2130 StealthChop Standalone mode

I have TMC2130 installed on my X and Y in StealthChop Standalone mode according to this thread: https://discuss.toms3d.org/hardware-f6/use-tmc2130-without-spi-in-stealthchop-t406.html My question are: 1) This is 16 microsteps interpolated to 256, right? 2) Do the settings in configuration_adv.h appl...

Re: TMC2130 on MKS Gen L

More info: I'm using fysetc tmc2130 and have removed the resistor on pin 10 and jumpered cfg4 and cfg5 like waterott.
Now I am getting over temperature warnings on both x and y when I move them.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
