Re: Attack of the 复制: Anet E10 live unboxing, assembly and first print!

Those cheap printers look like they are thrown together by an AI. :geek:

Re: Lines in print. Stepper resolution problem?

I got some random solid couplers in my new printer that peforms well. The motion system there might be immune to influence by the leadscrews though.

Looking forward to the results. Hope the bracket does the trick :)

Re: Lines in print. Stepper resolution problem?

Hmm looks good. The Igus bearings have a little more play afaik. That shouldn't have any effect here.

I will try a solid coupler on my fabrikator as well ,even if the leadscrew is supported above the stepper motor.

Re: Lines in print. Stepper resolution problem?

I guess your mechanics are good, judged by you cable management :D

Maybe at least the possible causes are narrowed down a little.

Sorry :P

Re: Lines in print. Stepper resolution problem?

That could be. How can you detect such problems? I gave up on the printer that produced those lines on the print. They drove me crazy and I tried everything possible. Your bed sounds rigid enough with that pre loading mine wasn´t (Fabrikator). Modding seemed to be a dead end for me so I designed my...

Re: Lines in print. Stepper resolution problem?

I got exactly this kind of lines in my old fabrikator. I'm pretty sure that it is caused by the Z bed mechanics not running perfetly smooth or there is some sort of minimal play. Even if you got a perfectly straight rod the bed moves that tiny bit causing a shift in XY or z.

Re: Show your printer(s)

I started with a Reprap Neo, shortly followed by a Trunigy Fabrikator (discount decision) and I am now pretty satisfied with my custom printer.

Re: Installed E3D on my wanhao, but it jams occassionally

I had similiar problems with the V6 for a while. I tried pretty much everything, cooling, temp adjust, retract settings... I heard that not all V6 hotends have the best surface finish but it seems a tiny amount of teflon oil has fixed it. I know it can harm the layer bonding strength but I diddn´t h...

Re: I am the center of the universe.

Your measuring devices might show infinity but it also could be out of range. If there is something, there must be a cause of something. If there is a cause there is also a beginning and most likely an end. So I assume space is defined by those two, meaning we are not at the center of the universe.
