Re: Azteeg X5 GT 32bit - experiences, remarks, etc.

Duet net interface looks closer to milion bucks and smoothie rather like ten bucks ;) Now I'm thinking about Azteeg X5 GT (Panucatt - worst support ever), Duet (Wi-Fi or Lan), and Replicape (an a first glance looks awesome, but after watching Tom's review I'm not very enthusiastic).

Re: Panucatt Re-Arm+Trinamic TRAMS, is it work?

Ronin, I cannot tell you how is it with compatibility and so on but i can tell you one thing (which makes me really sad because I was ready to buy Azteeg X5 GT) - Panucatt has the worst support ever. I have been trying to contact them by all channels (contact form on their site, their support e-mail...

Replicape two years later (from Tom's review) - is it worth any attention now?

Hi, Tom reviewed Replicape (available here: https://www.thing-printer.com/product/replicape/ ) more than two years ago (You can check it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiHoCD9oeeE ). I wouldn't say that than it was anywhere near a good choice for anyone, especially beginner with low programmi...

Re: Where to buy PEI / ULTEM sheet, especially BIG ONES

For anyone interested in topic - if you are lucky you can buy almost any kind of PEI sheet cheaply from Alibaba.com - unfortunately most of manufacturers selling on this side do not ship to my country. But I will manage by asking a friend who lives in UK.

Thank you :-)
15,75" would be greate -but holly cow it is expressive! Still I will write to them if they can sell me square in this size but like 0,25mm thick. Maybe price will be acceptable.

THX :) ,
I will check both of them, Wi-Fi capacity looks good (not essential but I wouldn't mind having it ;) ), and Bigfoot drivers are not obligatory (just thought that if I'm going to build a machine from scratch i should will go with parts of highest possible futureproofness ;) )

Re: Where to buy PEI / ULTEM sheet, especially BIG ONES

THX, I can go even with 0,2mm-0,5 of thickness, the problem is that i can't find anything bigger than 12x12 inches and that's about 304,8x304,8mm - comparing to 400x400mm i would like to find it is tiny ;)

Azteeg X5 GT 32bit - experiences, remarks, etc.

I have been looking for controller board for my printer. After two or three weeks of research I have found this Azteeg X5 GT, and it looks very interesting. It is based on Smoothieboard, and runs Smoothieware - and as Tom mentioned about three years ago in video about smoothieboard (so I think it's ...

Where to buy PEI / ULTEM sheet, especially BIG ONES

Hi everybody!
Im going to build my first 3d printer. While (as for now) I have no problem finding most of parts I can't find bigger, and thicker sheets of PEI (something like 400 x 400 x 0,5-1 mm). Any advice where to get one, preferably in reasonable price? Thanks in advance for any advice.
