can you tell the world what kind of board is beeing used in this printer?? (marlin has lots of boards preset but you can alter things to suit your board.)

if you let the printer feed 10 cm of filament does it really take 10 cm?
in ohter words; have you propperly calculated the steps per unit for the e axis?

It was also mentioned in the documentation that the SPI(no idea what this means) cannot be shared between the LCD and the SD card slot. i'm guessing you have have made the wrong conclusion; i hope the repraplcd uses the same spi for the lcd AND the sd.. so you can hook up the reprap but you cannot ...

does your printbed have a good conductive surface? my printer was off the mark because 1 corner the metal bolt from the heated bed was picked up thus triggering faster than the other points on aluminium. by altering the points in marlin i corrected this.

hi, my guess is your problem lies in the y axis.. thats the big weight beíng jerked around. (i had the most problems with this axis also) could it be flimsy motorbrackets? my y axis motormount wasn't really sturdy so i made a little support so the motor doesn't bounce when printing. also the screws ...

use the type that's written on the tank your filling :D
pet filament is an option because brake fluid is caustic and pet is resiliant.. would first do a test do..

hi, the lulzbot website is not recommending using arduino to update firmware.. https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/firmware-flashing/firmware-flashing/ in the taz4 firmware .tar file is a u8glib present with an instruction, maybe specific for your printer?? if that fails im out of options.. so then jus...
