Re: TMC2130 on a Ramps Plus2 (Alfawise U10)

With the latest Marlin bugfix it's not required to use the MISO,MOSI and SCK Hardware SPI Pins anymore. You can define Software SPI Pins in the Firmware to avoid Problems of These are covered by your LCD connector which is likely on any Display with an SD Card Reader as thses 3 PIN are used by the S...

Re: Problem with ATX PSU for RAMPS 1.4 with Heated Bed

Is your ATX labeld Haswell compatible or Haswell ready. If not and by your issue description shut down as soon as a higher load is drawn you might have issue with an unbalanced 12V rail. Especially an issue with older ATX pre 2014

Re: 5V fan-suitable output on RAMPS

First of all to get 5V on the servo pins you have to set the VCC GND jumper on the RAMPS. If I remember correct the recommended continious current on an outpot pin for the Arduino and thats where your servo pins are powered from is 20mA with an max of 40mA. The overall current drawn if the Arduino i...

Re: TMC2130 V1.0 Question

Usually you set the Z driver to a higher current as you are driving 2 Motors from one driver. So if you connect only a single Motor for testing check current on the driver.

Re: TMC2130 V1.0 Question

Apparently as your Driver is fine I would look into Software Settings. A) Is the current maybe already set for 2 Steppers in parallel. This might cause overheating in seconds. Next from a former discussion I changed DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE to 3 for the Z axis in Configuration.h and it seem to work! Reg...

Re: TMC2130 & Megatronics 3

You Need 3 SPI Pins shared for all 2130 and a dedicated CS Pin per Driver. with the latest Marlin bugfix branch you are even not bound to use the Hardware SPI. But looking on your Board I would connect SPI to MOSI(D51) MISO (D50) and SCK (D52) so this would be compatible with Marlin 1.1.8 for exampl...

Re: Upgrading Firmware on Anet A8

But be Aware due to the 128k Memory Limit on the Anet Boards you can't use the full Feature set of Marlin. Speaking n the Word of Leveling you can't get 'UBL unified bed Leveling to work, but other leveling methods such as Linear or Bi-linear will work

Re: Mini Rambo vs MKS board?

All that, for the ability to use the 128x64 lcd. The downside you have with marlin is that there isn't an easy menu option for tuning your Z height. Prusa FW has "live adjust Z" which really is an easy access to editing the value for M851. You can do M851 manually on marlin but it'll be a bit tedio...

Re: Anet A8 Ramps 1.4 TMC2130

CFG5 in SPI with no external motion controller and that the mode you are going to run the TMC2130 has no effect, so you can leave it as it is
