Re: wipebar for first extrusion

Maybe the thing to take from that design is the flexible wiper and dual swipe. That looks to be cut from a silicon windshield wiper blade, I imagine a standard rubber wiper might melt while making contact with the nozzle. I also had a lot of issues with skirts getting dragged by having a corner stic...

Re: New mainboard and what to choose ?

I just built a printer with a MKS Gen 1.4, it's basically RAMPS but with a lot more room to work with and a lot more auxiliary ports. Check the section on "tuning motor current" here:
http://reprap.org/wiki/Pololu_stepper_driver_board

If the motor drivers are mistuned you can miss steps, which might be causing your problem.

Re: DOLLY issues with configuration

Hey misprint, the setting you're looking for is here: #define Z_SAFE_HOMING #if ENABLED(Z_SAFE_HOMING) #define Z_SAFE_HOMING_X_POINT ((X_MIN_POS + X_MAX_POS) / 2) // X point for Z homing when homing all axis (G28). #define Z_SAFE_HOMING_Y_POINT ((Y_MIN_POS + Y_MAX_POS) / 2) // Y point for Z homing w...
