MK52 Magnetic Heat bed Clone for MK2

Post by OEM3D » Sat Feb 10, 2018 8:03 pm

Hi everyone,
Is it cool to post links to Indiegogo campaigns here? Or is that forbidden. I have some mk52 clone beds been made at the moment.

Sure you can, but for me IGG is done.
Still waiting for a MK42 ...
And IGG doesn't give a f*ck

And by the way -> flexible funding goal looks like a fraud.
It is totally the opposite of:
IF I DON'T REACH THAT GOAL, I WILL NOT KEEP ANY OF YOUR HARD EARN MONEY and will just not get the heatbeds made if the manufacturer holds firm on MOQ's.
For me it is cheaper to buy from prusa directly there i pay 120€ more but i get:
the heatbed + a powdercoated spring steel sheet

Bondtech extruder gears (around 50€)
Filament Sensor (tried to source the parts but would be around 10€)
P.I.N.D.A 2 with thermistor (around 20€)
Noctua fan 5v (around 13€)
Fan-nozzle-shroud from easyABS
200g PETG filament

It is slightly more but i have real guarantees instead of IGG lies / because they give a f*ck

Ahh you are correct I selected the wrong funding option, will try to correct that since I will return whatever is given on a unsuccessful campaign. Also what do you think is a better pricing range? want to know if I can get it down to your idea of price

I think when you are in the USA the price is totally fine / but shipping to europa is expensive so it is better to buy from prusa

I did not think about that. If you're overthere then shipping from Prusa is a lot less. We just get killed on stuff coming from them here.

shipping over the ocean is expensive.

Ya runout is nice. problem is there is no support or update for marlin @ the moment. You can try port the lates firmware 2.5 than you have a runout sensor
