Structure Analysis and Optimization software

Post by pbedenbaugh » Thu Mar 22, 2018 2:51 pm

The team at Universität Bayreuth which develops the Z88 family of software is offering free passes to HANNOVER MESSE 2018, 23 - 27 April, to encourage visitors to their booth. They develop free engineering software, including finite element codes, and Z88-Arion, software which provides a graphical user interface for topology optimization based on finite-element-analysis. I always thought this would be a good step in a workflow the 3D printing workflow - perhaps if Tom published a tutorial, I would get around to trying it :D .

From their newsletter:
Free tickets for Hannover trade fair 2018
Again, Z88Aurora is part of the world´s biggest industry fair. If you would like to visit our stand, just follow the link for free tickets. We would be happy to see you in hall 2, stand A52. More: http://www.hannovermesse.n2g20.com/l/35 ... iblevp-xov

I am not affiliated with this project.
Project is a University project - not commercial (https://en.z88.de/)
All project software is freely available without charge.
Open source versions of some of their software is available.

Posted by me as a courtesy for those who might like gain free admission
to a technical conference in Bundesrepublik Deutschlandj to meet this research group,
and discern how their software could enhance 3D printing.
