They are bigger as thought.

size comparison left to right:

500g / 800g / 1KG / 2,3 KG

Any suggestions? :P

I personally like the "Put it somewhere and be annoyed when the stack crashes" approach ^^

What are dimensions of those spools ? Diameter and thickness.
I have found my answer :D So for anyone interested:
  • XXL spools are 300mm in diameter, 102mm thick, and have standard 52mm hole
  • Standard spools are 200mm in diameter, 55mm thick, and have standard 52mm hole
  • Small spools are 200mm in diameter, 43mm thick, and have standard 52mm hole
