I think is the BQ hephestos frame.

This is all i have for now.

I will print all the parts in a xheap tronxy p802m with this ABS
Image

Im having some warping issues but i think i will get it.

So, i´m a bit confused with the lengths of threaaded rods and smooth rods.
Smooth rods:
Original lenghts are 320,330 and 370 but Thomas use 320,350 and 370. Why? Z,Y,X??

Threaded rods:
Original:
4 pcs M8x200mm
2 pcs M10x350mm

Thomas use 4 m8x205mm and 2 m10x360mm

Why?

I hope you can help me and I like the thread. More soon
Thanks

Just to confirm, you are using a different type of extruder than the Dolly was designed with. Your Bowden extruder can work, but you'll need to modify the extruder-body.stl file to remove the motor mount and hole for the tube so you can attach the Bowded tube adapter to the top of your hotend. You'll also need to find a point on the frame to mount it, which may mean drilling new holes.

The old I3 kits used 320/350/370, so it is easy to find those sets already package together on Aliexpress. Tom included a modified Y-Corner file that is open on top to allow the longer Y rods (350) to be used. 320/330/370 are the correct lengths.

200mm and 350mm is the right fit, the 205/360 do stick out slightly on the Dolly as you can see on mine. Slightly longer is maybe easier to get a better thread on the nut, but it should make little difference.

Yes, mi intention is to use a bowden extruder. i will use a Xcarriage designed for bowden.
About drilling new holes is not planned yet, i go along...

Hi ¡ A lot of work and fun this weekend.
With all the parts needed to build the dolly... this is what happened...

Still need alot of work, all the wiring and electronics and some fine tuning.

Image

My smooth rods on Y-axis are 340mm long
Image

First i print the x-motor and x-idler parts from mk2s and yesterday I realized that they were not worth to put the keystone screw so i made new one from makerfr.com but i add the support for the new endstop.
Image

Image

Too many problems with x-carriage, the first printed thigtened the bearing too much and did not have a smooth movement , the second i printed was better but I'm not convinced, maybe design a new one
Image

Image

I design this part for the extruder.
Image

The power supply box is from makerfr.com but modified to allow my plug and switch

Image

I realized that the original prusa part dont touch the ground so i decided to modify it. i think make more sturdy structure.

Need to find other screws for the bed

Endstop cover i design.

If anyone want some of the STL i modified...ask for them.

This looks really nice! Your wiring is so clean and tidy, I really like the extruder mount too. Are you going to use a sensor for bed leveling?

Which extruder parts did you print? Do you have a link?

Hi,
Did you wrap the frame in carbonsticker? Looks nice.

The printer on your workbench on the right of the one youre building is bigger, but what's the type?

Buena construcción. Me gusta mucho la apariencia de fibra de carbono

Sorry, My ex is 1/2 Spanish, so I know a bit of (poor) conversational Spanish lol
