And these Fystex driver overtemperature caused by this little soldering "error"?
I mean when i dont use in spi mode so just stick the stepper driver in the board a few minutes later it will be too hot and start skipping steps.
And what mA do you recommend for it?

In standalone it's even worse with the Fysetc as there not only the CFG4 bridge the CFG5 solder bridge needs to be set as well. The two little bridges have different functions depending if the driver is running standalone or SPI. In standalone the configure the chopper settings and are essential the get them work properly. Just read my description in the thread I linked above where I explained that in detail

I read it i want to use the SPI mode.
In this case i need to soldering the CFG4 and desoldering the SPI part.
Right?

CFG5 in SPI with no external motion controller and that the mode you are going to run the TMC2130 has no effect, so you can leave it as it is

Hello guys, I have similar problems with GENUINE WATTEROTT TMC2130 drivers.
I have them connected in SPI mode, because I am using an LCD and SD reader I have set the chip select pins of the X and Y axis to the E0 and E0 pins.
I have stealthchop enabled and current set to 800mA through SPI.

Lets get to the point: My drivers are constantly overheating even at 600mA current, they are skipping steps, and the 1.7A nema 17 steppers are very hot during operation. When i try to insert the SD card for a standalone print i get x and y overheating warning and the current starts to decrease, even though the drivers are still cold.

Should I try to disable the stealthchop or what? Why does the sd card interfere with the SPI bus? Could this be due to marlin still not having features fully implemented for TMC2130?

I am having some similar issues with theese chips. My soldering equipment and skills are not good enough for features that small.

If I plan on not using the SPI interface, and just dropping the chip in the ramps board, do I need to configure marlin any differently?

I was also getting the over temp error, but increasing current to 1200 fixed that. I have not yet managed to get any movement from these chips :/
